OBJECTIVE  To create a vibrant and interactive space where contractors can engage, learn, and collaborate with Remote Staff and the wider community, fostering a stronger sense of belonging and professional growth.

Project Briefing Pack for CRE Team

1. Overview of the Project - Community Platform

Theme: “Unbreaking the Colorful You”

 

Project Name: Community Platform Launch

Tool Used: The platform will be hosted on Humhub. Notifications and communications related to the platform will be sent via email from Humhub.

2. Purpose

Why is it Important?: 

                ● Strategic Business Objective: Engaged contractors are the backbone of our long-term success. When                             contractors are enthusiastic about their work, they take positive actions that enhance our reputation and drive                     our interests forward.

                ● Retention and Performance: Engaged contractors are more likely to stay with us, reducing turnover and                         ensuring continuity. They perform better, delivering high-quality work that exceeds client expectations.

                ● Contrast with Disengagement: Engaged contractors have a positive attitude towards Remote Staff and our 

                   values. Disengaged contractors might do the bare minimum or even harm our work output and reputation.                         By launching this platform, we aim to turn disengagement into enthusiastic participation.


3. Roles

Community Engagement Team:

            ● Activity Production: Develop activities that foster engagement and community spirit.

            ● Learning Curation: Curate learning activities that enhance the professional growth of contractors.


CRE Team:

            ● Buzz Creation: Create excitement and buzz among contractors about the platform.

            ● Encouragement: Encourage contractors to join and participate in platform activities.

            ● Feedback Reporting: Collect and report engagement feedback from contractors.


Contractors:

            ● Participation: Actively engage with the platform and participate in activities.

            ● Collaboration: Collaborate with peers, share knowledge, and contribute to discussions.

            ● Feedback: Provide feedback on platform activities and overall experience.


4. Launch Date

            ● Scheduled Launch Date: Thu, 27 June 2024


5. Launch Specifics

    5.1. Announcement in the RS Portal:

        ○ The announcement will be made on the Remote Staff portal dashboard to inform all contractors about the launch of the community platform.

     5.2. Sending Emails to RS Contractors:

        ○ An email campaign will be conducted to ensure all contractors are aware of the launch. The email will contain     

            details about the platform, how to access it, and encourage contractors to log in and explore. Emails will be sent               both their personal and RS email. 


  

5.3. Logging in to the Platform:

    ○ Contractors can click the Community Page in their RS Portal to access the community platform or through this     

        link https://community.remotestaff.com/

             Username: RS email address (Note. we will only be enrolling RS emails. personal email address will not be 

                approved)

             Default Password: Rem0te1234#

             ** Contractors and CREs will be pre-enrolled to platform (done by admin IT or Kat). 


 

Upon initial login, you will enter your RS email address and default password Rem0te1234# You will be forced to reset your password. 

 

 

● 5.4. What They Will Be Seeing in the Platform:

    ○ Upon logging in, contractors will see:

            ■ Spaces - RSHQ - This is the dedicated space for all contractors where announcements, and contents will be 

                posted. Everyone will be pre-enrolled to this space. Should you need a ‘space’ for your respective teams, we     

                can create one for you. Further instructions will be provided. 

            ■ Welcome Message: An introduction to the platform and its purpose. 

            ■ Dashboard: Overview of the platform features and file we have previously uploaded. 

            ■ Activity Feed: Latest posts, events, and announcements.

            ■ Wiki - learning repository and  support documentation.

            ■ Engagement Activities: Quizzes, polls, discussion forums, and scheduled webinars.

            ■ Other features - will be introduced as we use this platform. 


● 5.5. Error Reporting Process:

    ○ In case contractors encounter any issues, they will be guided on how to report errors. The process will include:

            ■ Contact Support - From contractor report, please advise Kat or IT for the errors

            ■ Raise FD Tickets: BAU
