AIA | Annual Inflation Adjustment. Every 1st of April aligned to the Central Bank of the Philippines report, clients are made aware that an increase will be made on the hourly rate to ensure that their remote contractors' rate is competitive across the market. |
ASL | Remote Ready Candidates. Qualified and have agreed on NSA. Can be furthered processed for any matching role and actively displayed on the client-facing .com.au website (otherwise known as the ASL page). Note that the BH fields “Add to ASL” and “Recruiter Approved” has to be set to ‘Yes’ for the candidate’s profile to appear in the ASL page. |
BO | Back Order. An additional remote role that an existing client wants Remote Staff to fill. |
BCP | Business Continuity Plan is a system of prevention and recovery from potential threats to a company. |
BH | Bullhorn. Bullhorn’s ATS and customer relationship management (CRM) create a modern staffing system with tools such as job order management, candidate search, activity tracking and reporting. The ATS streamlines all workflows to help customers quickly find the perfect candidate. The cloud-based, mobile-friendly design makes it easy to access from anywhere. |
Buy-out | The intention to buy the contract out from Remote Staff and work directly with the remote contractor. |
Buy-out Fee | The fee required from a client in accordance to their buy-out intent. |
BYO contracts | If a client hires an organically sourced remote team member to the Remote Staff platform. |
BYOD | Bring Your Own Device. Remote Staff requires all new RCs to have their own computer, internal and pre-requisite requirements based on the job ad. |
CDA | Compliance Data Analyst. They are the once checking the attendance, screen shots, and manages the timesheet of the remote contractor based from their work schedule. |
Client | How we define our paying customers. |
CMD | Client Management Director. Oversee the delivery of client management services within Remote Staff. |
COB | Close of Business |
CoU | Certificate and Affidavit of Undertaking. A document an outgoing remote contract has to sign and accomplish. It is a legal promise or commitment to perform an act, which may be legally binding if executed properly. Undertakings may ask one party to commit to do something by a certain date, not to do something, and/or to pay a certain amount of money. |
CRE | Client Relations Executive. |
Custom New | A new client that comes thru the Remote Staff platform with custom requirements. |
EOC | End of Contract also known as contract cancellation |
EOS | End of Shift |
Ex Sub-con | A remote contractor who had a previous client thru Remote Staff. |
FD | Freshdesk. |
FMI | First Month Invoice |
JD | Job Description |
JO | Job Order. This is how we identify a role/back order/replacement that has already been confirmed with a client. |
KPI | Key Performance Indicator. A quantifiable measure of performance over time for a specific objective. |
LR | Lead Recruiter |
MPL | Mandatory Paid Leaves |
NDA | Non-Disclosure Agreement |
NSA | Non-Solicitation Agreement |
Onboarding | The process of introducing a newly hired remote contractor to a client. |
PEO | Pre Engagement Orientation |
PO | Placement Order |
POC | Point of Contact |
Pre-boarding | Happens before a contracts starts. |
Reference number | This is similar to the client Bullhorn ID number |
RC | Remote Contractor |
Replacement | To re-fill an existing job order |
SA | Service Agreement |
SLA | Service Level Agreement |
Start-Up | Job orders that successfully inducted. |
Termination Notice | 30 Days/14 Days notice period observed by the remote contractor upon contract cancellation confirmation. |
