OBJECTIVE To understand how to manage a BYO contract.

Important things to remember
- BYO or Bring Your Own staff is a service that is an available option only to existing clients. This contract type allows clients to enroll a directly sourced/hired Philippine based staff to use the Remote Staff Platform.
- The margin is set to zero for BYO contracts. We only charge a one-time setup fee of AUD $300 per contract plus a service fee of AUD $400/contract.
- One time setup fee of AUD $300 per staff will be used to registerthem as 'Self Employed' to comply with Philippine regulations.
- [OPTIONAL] Monthly fee for the RC's enrollment to the Guidance Program valued at AUD $250/month
Services included in BYO contracts are as follows:
- People and Culture Support from a dedicated Client Relations Executive (CRE)
- Inhouse Remote Work Monitoring Technology (Remote Staff System)
- Scheduling and Attendance Update (Compliance)
- Screen Shot Checks (Compliance)
- Payroll and Accounting Services (Accounts)
- Facilitation of Self Employment Registration of your RC to comply with Philippine regulations. (Guidance Program)
- Facilitation of tax compliance of your RC in accordance with Philippine tax regulations. (Tax Assistance)
- Facilitation of HMO enrolment. [Optional]
- Community Engagement and Retention
- Philippine legal representation - We provide the client contact information of lawyers in the Philippines.
I. Once an existing client contacts CRE showing interest in taking in their direct hires to Remote Staff, we forward the filled out BYO Request Template, and all information about the staff including the resume / CV of the clients BYO staff to the Client Placement Team.
II. The Lead Recruiter will process the BYO like a back order request and will provide the necessary contracts and orientation to the clients.
III. Once all documents are signed, LR will endorse the JO to ROs in the JO Update, Contracts and Start Up Skype thread with the following:
LR MUST
- Ensure that the Margin is set to 0
- Orient the client that the Schedule of Fees for BYO is as follows:
- One time setup fee of AUD $300 per staff. This will be used to register.them as Self Employed to comply with Philippine regulations
- Monthly Remote Staff Service Fee of AUD $400 per staff.
- Monthly Payment for your staff’s Social Security System (“SSS”),
Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (“PhilHealth”), and Home Development Mutual Fund (“Pag-Ibig”) (collectively, the “Social Welfare Agencies”) is AUD $175 for all BYO prior 1 Oct 2022, AUD $250 per staff for all BYO after 1 Oct 2022. This is disbursed to the RC every first week of the month as a reimbursement.
- Confirm the monthly and hourly rate of the BYO staff as agreed with the client.
- Create a ticket in the system for Special Arrangement:
- Ticket should indicate that the Staff is BYO, Charge a one time setup fee of AUD $300, Monthly recurring Service Fee of AUD $400, Monthly Recurring Government Contributions Allowance of AUD $250
- Add the assigned CRE and Accounts Specialist to the Ticket
- Notify the designated Recruitment Coordinator in the JO thread with the Ticket ID of the Special Arrangement Ticket for Contracts Set up, so they can discuss the usual discussion
CRE MUST
- Onboard / Walk the staff through the Remote Staff Portal once endorsed from the Placement Team
- Provide reminders on the BYO set up
- Monitor and support the RC as normal
- Add a narrative/note on the placement via portal that this is A BYO arrangement. Please include any special arrangements agreed with the client regarding this placement. (Example - non usage of DIWA)
- Guide the RC on tax compliance and Guidance Program
