This is used when initiating a job order to ascertain the specific type of contract required for a Remote Contractor, aligning with the staffing requirements.
Independent Contractor - Permanent
This is the traditional Remote Staff contract or agreement where the contract with the Remote Contractor is self-repeating (no end date), in the past, we term this as a "STANDARD" Contract.
Independent Contractor - Project-Based
The contract's end date is predetermined upon its inception. This contract category is applicable only if the Remote Contractor will collaborate with the client for a maximum of 365 calendar days. Despite its initial termination date, this contract can undergo extensions. However, if the contract, following any extensions, surpasses 365 calendar days and reaches a minimum duration of 366 days, the arrangement must transition to Independent Contractor – Permanent status.
BYO – Bring Your Own
This contract type is used when the client chooses to enter a contract and already has a staff to fill the job order.
Recruitment Only Service
This contract type is not actively offered but rather reserved for situations where a client opts for our recruitment services without requiring any post-hire assistance.
Employment - Permanent (Active for Global, In Progress for AU/NZ)
This contract type is utilized when a Remote Contractor is assigned in handling Remote Staff clients and is treated as an employee. The contract significantly deviates from the conventional Remote Contractor setup, as these individuals receive governmental benefits similar to in-house employees. From the perspective of the Bullhorn Placement module, we can also categorize in-house employees within this grouping.
Employment - Project-Based (Active for Global, In Progress for AU/NZ)
The difference with the previous contract type is the contract has a defined start and end date
NOTE:
Due to the impermanent nature of Project-Based contracts, these shall not form part of our Net Score thus will not be counted as Active Contracts nor Cancellations.
