OBJECTIVE To acknowledge and properly document/plot any pre-approved overtime hours worked by the remote contractor.
EFFECTIVITY MAY 2024
Important things to remember
- Overtime are additional hours worked by the RC upon client's request.
- Overtime hours are always pre-approved which means that RCs are not encouraged to work these hours without securing the Client/POCs approval first.
- If overtime hours are observed consistently, the client can set pre-approved overtime hours and can even put a cap on the maximum allowed overtime per day/week. Alternatively, open OT can also be arranged if applicable.
- A ticket should be created via Freshdesk for any pre-approved overtime arrangements.
- Overtime hours are paid out to the RC once invoice is paid by the client.
- Overtime filed after the agreed cutoff will be automatically considered as late notes.
- No clear OT approval or attachment, no adjustments to be made.
- You can review the Timesheet page Manual published by IT thru this link.
I. If the Client would ask the RC to render overtime, the latter needs to take a screen shot of the said approval provided that the instruction was given via chat/text/email. If it was via call, kindly ask the RC to message the client about it to secure proof in writing.
II. RC to login to https://staff.remotestaff.com/ and file the overtime on the 'Timesheet' page. RCs may refer to this guide. Alternatively, you can also add these notes if the approval was sent via email to support@remotestaff.com
